Adelaide Global Game Jam 2016

Spookum’s Spooky House

Global Game Jam 2016 was my first experience working in a team at a Game Jam. Game Jams are great for meeting people with similar interests and developing industry contacts. After learning the theme was "Ritual" we sat down and brain stormed a few ideas. Eventually deciding to develop Spookum’s Spooky House.

I was lucky enough to get together with a great bunch of developers. This is what Game Jam’s are all about for me, a great chance to meet up with people and make something fun to play.

The Pitch

You play as a ghost cursed to roam the halls of an old abandoned house until an unwitting soul knocks on your door. The player scares Sally around the house as she collects the items that will bring the player back from the dead.
